Projects

At Coding Cosines©, we provide high quality lectures and resources on advanced mathematics,
computer science, robotics, and science.

Competition Math

We have developed an effective math curriculum covering complex geometry, algebra, and statistics. The curriculum allows students to build a solid mathematical foundation, ultimately preparing them for the rigors of math competitions and AP Calculus BC. We also provide extensive testing practice for the International Math Kangaroo and the American Mathematics Competition (AMC).

Advanced Computer Science

We have formulated an efficient strategy and curriculum to teach students computer science. Our curriculum covers all aspects of languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript. Teachers help students understand crucial and complex concepts such as Object-Oriented Programming, Machine Learning Fundamentals, and Data Manipulation. Advanced classes also cover Natural Language Processing and Deep Learning using TensorFlow. Students apply their knowledge in our quarterly hackathon-style event.

Curriculum

Our curriculum is desinged to do two things: increase students' understanding of STEM concepts and prepare them for competitions.

Our curriculum breaks down each STEM subject into simpler components, allowing students to properly digest and comprehend all material. We provide a multidtude of resources such as powerpoint presentations, worksheets, and practice tests. Many of our materials have been developed in collaboration with MIT professors in mathematics and EECS.

Competitions

We hold our very own Coding Cosines© Hacking Business Event in which students develop a software product for a specific industry. Students then pitch their product in a "Shark Tank" style competition to industry professionals from FAANG corporations and prominent startups.

Our curriculum covers the AMC, International Math Kangaroo, USACO, USABO, USNCO, and USAPhO.

We hold weekly lessons on various competitions based on student interest. At these lessons, we provide each student with the resources and curriculum they need to succeed in their respective competition.
